Apologies if there is a thread on this already...
For any trained new coders out there what have been your most surprising succeses? I was thinking specifically 6 step reframe, unconscious signals and new code games.
My best to date goes like this. A friend had a headache for three weeks. I tried to get her to get her own unconscious signals but every time she tried to get them she twitched. She has had this twitch for about 10 years. It happens anywhere - especially bad in people's company which has caused her to be alone many times to avoid embarrassment - going home early, leaving parties, going to bed early, not sleeping properly because it would keep her awake. It stumped me at the time because the signals couldn't be distinguished from twitchy "noise"
At this point I took a lead role and asked her unconscious to withhold the twitch so we could establish the signals. It did!! We got them, did the six step reframe and her headache disappeared - for good. Better than that her twitch has reduced at least 80% and when it does raise its head she asks her unconscious to stop it which it does. She had been to see a neurologist years ago who told her she had a chemical imbalance and nothing could be done - ha!!
Ps. I have been playing guitar hero drums and was wondering if this could be considered a nifty new code game for some. It uses right arm, left arm, both feet tap together for the bass drum. It is very visual because you need to watch when to hit pads and very auditory because you need to listen to the rhythm. When I have played it it feels similar to the effect of the nasa game. Dunno what do people think?
