First of all, you need to move past being “stuck.” The only thing keeping you “stuck” is your belief that you are stuck. If you’re really into this chick, powerfully claim that you have simply come to a fork in the road on the way to ultimate Seduction success in banging this woman silly. Even if you are interested in this one woman – she might be the sexiest, most intriguing hottie you’ve met all year – I still wonder why you put effort into seducing her. It seems like you are trying to figure out what went “wrong” in this situation.

I went to set up a meeting with her. At first she paused…then smiled with her eyes looking to the left. Then she said okay. I asked her to meet at 5 the next day, and she said she’ll be at school. Then I said I’d pick her up at 8 then, and she said, “sorry I can’t.” Then she said…”why don’t you give me your number and I’ll call you.” I know enough and responded like you taught me.

Then, I saw her again today. Across the fence. Get this – her boyfriend is my neighbor! He’s a nice enough dude but I don’t wanna mess with him….ya know? Knowing I may have to leave an enticing message on her phone as the next step, not to mention handle this in such a way that my neighbor doesn’t come after me, do you have any suggestions for this sort of situation?

EV-VERY TIME someone asks me what to do in this situation, I always ask the same question back …

“Is she the ONLY succulent, amazing woman on the whole freaking planet???”

Do you need drama in your life? Do you WANT your neighbor POed at you?

Look: get out of this scarcity/poverty mindset, and find women who ARE available and ready RIGHT NOW, who are ripe for the picking and don’t come with a poison worm already embedded in her apple. Use my teachings on someone whose “borefriend” doesn’t know where you live.

Dear Speed Seduction® Student,

In this digital, instant-messaging age, more and more Penthouse-worthy erotic encounters as well as dating relationships begin with online chat on a dating site. Personally, I don’t think that’s very effective, because you can’t use many of the in-person techniques for approaching women.

But a lot of my students are trying their hand at Speed Seduction® using Match.com, Plentyoffish, e-Harmony, Singlesnet, Chemistry.com, or Friend Finder. A student of mine who is working on his “online Sarge” wrote to me the other day:

Hey Ross! One thing I’ve learned is that I am not very good at seducing women online, at least with someone I have not already met in person. I’m having a hard time making the patterns work well with the woman when it’s typed words rather than face-to-face. For one thing, it is hard, maybe impossible, to be sure they link it to you. For another, you can’t watch them, and see how they are taking what you are saying. You can’t really calibrate.

Personally, I try to use online sarging only as a means of getting a face to face meeting set up. However, I’m sure many of you out there are expert internet sargers. Any tips on how I can improve my internet sarging, especially with women I either haven’t met, or only had time to swap e-mail addresses?

You’re right when you say that it’s hard, maybe even impossible, to make sure she links the words you type back to you, and not to the images in her mind, which for all you know have nothing to do with you despite all the “oooo” and “aaahhh” and “you’ve got me so wet, babe” she’s typing back to you in that chat window.

The one possible advantage I see to chatting online is that sometimes you can get her to open up more, since she might be less nervous than if you had just approached her in person because she perceives less “risk.”

That said, here’s the deal: If you haven’t spent time talking to her face to face, use (limited) time online to do information gathering. One of the key principles of Speed Seduction® is how to use the information she gives you to reframe her to get her soaking wet hot-and-bothered … and to then associate those erotic feelings with YOU so YOU are the one she attacks like a wild woman on the kitchen floor when you meet in person.

Ever heard the saying “Nice guys finish last?”

Many smart guys, in their quest to succeed with more women, have been frustrated to wits end by the number of times they have made their move on that hottie, only to end up going home alone … while she goes home with some jerk.

Some guys end up buying into the idea that women like jerks, and confuse the idea of being confident around women, with acting like a jerk to get her hot and bothered.

More often than not, what ends up happening is … you just look like a jerk. Case in point: this student’s dilemma…

I need some help to get over this. I seem to have a deeply embedded reflex of being a total jerk to almost every woman I meet. I get so caught up in challenging her that I come across as a complete jerk. This is not on purpose, however. This is a natural reaction that has formed over the years, and it’s not helping me at all. I’ve been told it’s because I’m angry or it’s something from my past. Anybody know of a way to rid myself of all this hostility and aggresivity?

I had dinner with a girl named Amanda. It was a great dinner, then we went back to her place. The night ended rather well, although no physical contact. But then, I met her roommate a couple of days later. In an attempt at being playful and messing with her head, as I like to do with women, I hinted that Amanda had a threesome with two of my buddies. Well, Amanda got wind of this and got really POed at me, saying I called her a whore.

This exchange happened through email, since Amanda won’t meet me in person. Now I’m lucky if she’ll say “hi” to me if she sees me around. Is there any way to fix this? I’ve heard that making her feel such a powerful emotion of hating me is actually very good if I could get her to convert her hate into love or the like. Is this anywhere near plausible?

You said that you think you might be angry (at women) because of something from your past. The past explains how you got to where you are today. It’s not to be denied. The past represented the BEST you could do, up till now. Now, THANK the part of you that was acting like a total jerk.

Acknowledge the past, do whatever you need to do to clean up the mess, AND then focus on how you want to be from this moment on. And: ask the part of you that has been making you a jerk if it would be responsible to generate some NEW choices in your thinking and behavior that could serve its ORIGINAL intent, but do it in new and exciting ways.

Ross, I got a call today from a hottie who several years ago I totally dropped the ball on. I had a good start back then, but then I got too lusty and too supplicating and lost her to some other guy. Well, guess what? He dumped her 2 weeks ago and guess who she’s calling. ME!

When she called, she started crying about him, trying to (again) make me the veritable emotional tampon/AFC-friend. I totally refused, and said if we get together it has to be in a quiet place where we could have a few laughs.

I kept the call brief to avoid the AFC frame, especially after she instead asked me to come over tomorrow because she’s with her kids (in other words, so she could be near her safety net). I said I’d get back to her this week.

How can I move from “potential AFC supplicant borefriend emotional tampon” to “tasty-fuck-treat?” This is hard to do once you are in the “friend” category.

Being “stuck” in the friend category – or stuck ANYWHERE for that matter – is a choice that YOU consciously make.

When she dumped this guy, who did she call? YOU. So use that fact for what it’s worth.

You can get her aroused and hot and bothered, but it has to be done in a certain sequence and a certain location. You need to get her away from her “safety net” and into a place where she will be open to exploring new things … and the possibility of exploring with you … in bed.

The key is to use the information she gives you to your advantage. Before you know it, you’ll be enjoying mind-blowing sex with her – and pretty much any other woman of your choosing that you might have “missed out on” in the past as a result of the “way you used to be.”

After about 15 minutes, though, the conversation was starting to trail off. I actually heard the “crash and burn” sound as my seduction was free-falling fast. Getting ready to cut my losses and “exit, stage left,” I got her phone number and told her I’d call her when I got back from my trip.

Then…miraculously…a bailout! She said, with a coy smile, “I’d love to travel with you, but I’m afraid we’d end up taking a detour and you’d never make it to your meeting!” Then she winked and giggled.

I said to myself…again… “dude, it’s ON!” Let’s just say that I’m meeting up with her again the day after I’m back and settled back in. Thanks Ross!

First, and foremost – good on you!

For the rest of you: this student applied two very important principles in his Sarge.

First, he was patient and persistent and focused on the end goal. He didn’t scurry off with his tail between his legs when the Sarge didn’t seem to be going his way. Instead, he “hung in there.” Turns out she was more interested in HIM than he suspected. By fearlessly pressing on, he gave her the chance to “bail him out.”

Dear Speed Seduction® Student,

Sarging, like sales, is a “numbers game.” Sometimes she will tell you “no” even when you thought she was definitely going to bang you. Sometimes she “flakes.” Sometimes she wastes your time that, had you known, you could have more productively spent Sarging on her even hotter roommate.

That’s life in the fast lane, fellas. Part of life. Can’t be helped. Case in point, this e-mail I got:

The other night I met a hot woman who showed lots of interest in me. I established rapport well, entertained her well. I had her laughing, smiling, her attention was focused on me completely for 15 minutes. Later on she approached me to continue the conversation. Again, things went very well. She was very into me. She gave me her number, and kissed me good night.

I called her the next morning and said she was busy at work and could she call me back. She called back after 10 minutes. It was a great conversation and she agreed to call me next week when she’s back from a trip she’s leaving for.

Then, she called me again 10 minutes later. She said she had to be honest with me – that she is seeing someone, and that it would cause big difficulties in her relationship if she goes out with me. I said, ok, sure, I’ll leave it up to you. She said she’d had a great night with me last night and she’d been a bit drunk. She thanked me for understanding her situation.

What happened here? How do I stop this from happening again?
